Restaurant The Bishop's Buttery of the Cashel Palace Hotel is a restaurant located in Cashel in County Tipperary, Ireland. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1982 and 1983.[1] The Egon Ronay Guide awarded the restaurant one star in 1982.[2]

The kitchen style of the restaurant is Modern. Head chef and owner in the time of the Michelin star was Declan Ryan.[3][4]

The restaurant is housed in the Cashel Palace Hotel, a four starred hotel. It is built around 1730 in a late Queen Anne/early Georgian-style. Originally it was the residence of the Church of Ireland archbishops, until they moved to Waterford.[5][6]
