Vladeta Jerotić
Academician Vladeta Jerotić (Владета Јеротић), M.D., PhD, is a Serbian writer, psychiatrist and Jungian psychologist. He was born on August 2, 1924 in Belgrade, in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes.
He represents one of the most influential figures in Serbian but also regional culture, in the fields of psychology, psychotherapy, psychiatry, theology and literature. With more than 200 books, articles and essays, he is one of the most fruitful contemporary writers in the Serbian language.
In 2000, he was elected as a member of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in the Department of Language and Literature.
He was also a full professor of the School of Orthodox Theology, University of Belgrade, teaching the pastoral psychology.
