Tices Shoal is an area located on the opposite side of Island Beach State Park, in Lacey Township, Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. It is a common site for boats and other water crafts. At times, boats in excess of 1000 have been counted at Tices Shoal. Tices Shoal is also frequently referred to as "The Mecca."
