Urquhart Edward "Ted" Innes (12 February 1925 – 28 May 2010) was an Australian politician. Born in Melbourne, he was the Victorian Secretary and National President of the Electrical Trades Union before entering politics. In 1972, he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Labor member for Melbourne; the following year, he was made president of the Victorian Labor Party, a position he held for that year. He held the seat until his retirement in 1983.[1]
