Tang ZhengDong, (simplified Chinese: 唐正东; traditional Chinese: 唐正東; pinyin: Táng Zhèngdōng; born September 14, 1984 in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China) is a professional basketball player currently playing for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers.
Tang began basketball training in 1995 and eventually joined the Jiangsu Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association. In 2004-2005, he was awarded the Chinese Basketball Association MVP Award. He has repeatedly worked out with the China national basketball team; he is a center playing behind Yao Ming and Mengke Bateer and has not yet been selected for a major international competition roster.
Tang stands 2.13 m and has a robust frame. As a center he is not speedy. His shooting is accurate, so much so that he is a 3-point threat. His play has been compared to that of Mengke Bateer.
In 2006 Tang worked out for the Toronto Raptors.
