Stratford Square Mall is a shopping mall opened in 1981, located just off Army Trail Road and Gary Avenue in Bloomingdale, Illinois, a northwestern suburb of Chicago. The 1,300,000-square-foot (120,000 m2) mall currently has five anchor tenants including Carson Pirie Scott, Kohl's (former MainStreet), Macy's (former Marshall Field's), Sears, and Burlington Coat Factory (former Montgomery Ward).[2]

Feldman Mall Properties

Since being acquired by Feldman Mall Properties in early 2005, the mall has been scheduled to undergo many renovations in order to raise its status back to an A-Class Mall. Feldman Mall Properties, based in New York, still owns the mall in spite of experiencing financial difficulties in 2008.[3] In October 2011, the fountain in the central square next to the food court was replaced by a carousel.

In January 2014, it was announced that JCPenney, one of the anchor tenants, would be closing its store by May 2014.[4]
