Stephanie T. Bolden[1] (born August 16, 1946 in Wilmington, Delaware) is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Delaware House of Representatives since January 11, 2011 representing District 2. Bolden was a ten-year member of the Wilmington City Council, served a term as its president pro tempore, and is a member of the Delaware Black Caucus.[2]
Education
Bolden earned her BS from Delaware State University and her MEd from Boston College.
Elections
- 2012 Bolden was challenged by former Representative Arthur L. Scott in the September 11, 2012 Democratic Primary, winning with 1,400 votes (62.1%),[3] and was unopposed for the November 6, 2012 General election, winning with 6,253 votes.[4]
- 2010 Bolden challenged incumbent Democratic Representative Hazel Plant in the District 2 September 17, 2010 Democratic Primary, winning with 676 votes (51.2%),[5] and was unopposed for the November 2, 2010 General election, winning with 4,485 votes.[6]
