The village of St. Benedict is located in the Carlton Trail Region of Saskatchewan 56 km (35 miles) north of Humboldt off of Highway 20. The population was 82 in 2011.[1]

The village was founded by German immigrants in the first decades of the 20th century.[2]

The Roman Catholic church in St. Benedict contains works by the artist Berthold Imhoff.[3]
