Serdar Semiz (born on April 15, 1982) is a Swedish ice hockey right winger of Turkish descent. He plays for IFK Tumba Hockey in the Swedish Ice Hockey League Division 2. Semiz has dual citizenship, and is a member of the Turkey men's national ice hockey team. Playing career

Club

Serdar Semiz began his ice hockey career in 1999 playing for the under 18 team of AIK IF in the J18 Allsvenskan league. The next two seasons, he appeared for the under 20 team of the same club in the J20 SuperElit league.[1]

In 2002, he transferred to MB Hockey to play in the Division 1 league, third tier of ice hockey in Sweden. After seven seasons, Semiz signed for Botkyrka HC in 2008, where he was one season only.[1]

In 2009, he moved to Turkey to play in the Turkish Ice Hockey Super League for the İzmit-base Kocaeli BB Kağıt SK. After the 2011–12 season with the İzmir BB GSK, he returned to Sweden, and joined his former club MB Hockey, which competed in the fourth-tier league Division 2 (Swedish ice hockey). In 2014, he signed with IFK Tumba Hockey.[1]

International

Serdar Semiz took part at four Ice Hockey World Championships playing for the Turkey national team in 2012 in Erzurum, Turkey, 2014 in Jaca, Spain, 2015 in İzmir and 2016 in Istanbul, Turkey.[1]
