The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2015 edition) is an Android aluminum smartphone manufactured by Samsung. It was introduced in October 2014, along with the larger and related Samsung Galaxy A5. Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) is a successor to Samsung Galaxy A3.

There are no plans when Samsung Galaxy A3 will receive the Marshmallow update.

  • Samsung Galaxy A3 3G+ HSPA+ Duos SM-A300H/DS - 1 GB RAM only, dual SIM (stand-by: call active on one sim card), originally with Android 4.4.4 KitKat, and with the weaker communication abilities of 3G+ HSPA+ (42 Mbps).
  • Samsung Galaxy A3 4G-LTE Duos SM-A300M/DS - 1 GB RAM only, dual SIM (stand-by: call active on one sim card), originally with Android 4.4.4 KitKat, and with the newer communication abilities of 4G LTE (150 Mbps).
