Ronaldo Vieira Nan (born 20 July 1998) is a Bissau-Guinean footballer who plays for Leeds United as a Midfielder.

Youth career

Born in Guinea-Bissau and raised in Portugal, he signed for the academy at S.L. Benfica, he left Portugal in 2011 with his family in search of a football career in England. Vieira signed for York based i2i Football Academy whilst studying at York College. He joined Leeds United on trial in September 2015, and signed for the Academy after impressing.[1]

First Team

After impressing for the academy, Vieira signed a 2 year professional deal with Leeds on 5 May 2016,[2] Vieira was named on the bench for Leeds on 7 May 2016 against Preston North End, Vieira made his debut in the same game coming on as a substitute for Stuart Dallas in a 1-1 draw.[3]

Trivia

Vieira has a twin brother named Romario, named after the Brazilian footballer Romário, with Ronaldo named after Brazilian footballer Ronaldo.[4] His brother Romario, is also a footballer and plays for Tadcaster Albion.[5]
