Rain Veideman (born October 1, 1991) is an Estonian professional basketball player for Kalev/Cramo of the Estonian League.

Professional career

Kuremaa (2008–2009)

Veideman made his debut in the Estonian League at the age of 17, playing for Kuremaa. Before joining Kuremaa, Veideman played for Kalev II, reserve team of Kalev/Cramo. Kuremaa finished the 2008–09 season last, despite Veideman averaging 10.9 points per game.

Rakvere Tarvas (2009–2010)

In 2009, Veideman signed for Rakvere Tarvas. The team finished the 2009–10 season as runners-up, while Veideman averaged 15.1 points per game. He won the KML Best Young Player Award and was selected to the All-KML First Team.[1]

Tartu Ülikool/Rock (2010–2013)

In 2010, Veideman signed for the Estonian champions Tartu Ülikool/Rock. The team failed to defend their title, finishing the 2010–11 season as runners-up. Veideman scored 15.6 points per game and once again won the KML Best Young Player Award.[2] On February 4, 2012, Veideman was loaned to Bayreuth of the German Basketball Bundesliga.[3] He averaged 7.5 points per game as Bayreuth finished the 2011–12 season in 13th place. Veideman returned to Tartu Ülikool/Rock for the 2012–13 season, where he scored 10.2 points per game as the team reached the finals but lost the series to Kalev/Cramo 0–4.

Kalev/Cramo (2013–present)

On July 30, 2013, Veideman signed for Kalev/Cramo.[4] Veideman averaged 9.2 points as Kalev/Cramo won the 2013–14 season. He was also selected to the All-KML First Team and won the VTB United League Top Estonian Player Award.[5][6] Kalev/Cramo finished the 2014–15 season as runners-up with Veideman scoring 11.8 points per game and placed 9th in the 2014–15 VTB United League season, with Veideman winning his second Top Estonian Player Award.[7]

International career

Veideman is a member of the Estonia national basketball team since 2010. He competed at the FIBA EuroBasket 2011 Division B and the EuroBasket 2015, finishing in 20th place.
