Paolo Casarin

Paolo Casarin (born May 12, 1940 in Mestre) is a retired football referee from Italy. He is mostly known for supervising two matches in the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain.[1]
Casarin officiated at UEFA Euro 1988,[2] in addition to 1982[3] and 1986[4] World Cup qualifying matches. He is known to have worked as a FIFA referee during the period from 1979[5] to 1988.[2]
In 2012, he was inducted into the Italian Football Hall of Fame.[6]
