Now That's What I Call Music! 34 or Now 34 was released in 1996 on vinyl, audio cassette and Compact Disc. The album is the 34th edition of the (UK) Now! series.
Now 34 features four songs which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart at the time of its release: "Wannabe", "Ooh Aah... Just a Little Bit", "Return of the Mack", and "Jesus to a Child".[note 1]
An alternative version of "Macarena" sung by Los Del Mar is used, rather than the Los Del Rio version which was a hit in the UK.
The Wink song "Higher State of Consciousness" previously appeared on Now 32.
