Newcastle-under-Lyme railway station was a railway station that served the town of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England. It was opened by the North Staffordshire Railway in 1852.[1]
The station was located on King Street opposite the Borough Arms Hotel. A small goods yard was located on Water Street.[2]
No trace of the station remains today, as it was closed on 2 March 1964, although the route of the trackbed can still be found.[1]The closure of the station in Newcastle-under-Lyme made the town the largest settlement in the United Kingdom not to have a railway station
