Narborough and Pentney railway station was a station in Norfolk, serving the villages of Narborough and Pentney. It was on the line between King's Lynn and Swaffham opening with the line in 1846 and temporarily the terminus of the branch from Lynn until further building towards Swaffham was completed a year later in 1847.[1] It was closed in 1968 as part of the Beeching Axe, and now exists as a private residence. Beeching's report intended to retain the King's Lynn - Dereham - Norwich line (which was in fact closed) the local stations however, were recommended for closure in the report.
