Merzbuta is an album by the Japanese noise musician Merzbow.[3] It continues Merzbow's rhythmic oriented work on Important Records, and features samples from the last three discs of the Merzbox. Buta (豚?) means pig in Japanese.[4]
The album was recorded at the same time as Houjoue and Senmaida. The more beat oriented tracks were used for Merzbuta and the more abstract tracks for Houjoue.[5]
