Giant Sequoia in Merced Grove
Merced Grove is a giant sequoia grove located near Crane Flat just inside the western boundary of Yosemite National Park north of El Portal and the Merced River, at Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. [elevation 5,469 feet (1,667 m)].[1] It is in the small valley of Moss Creek, accessible by short hike. It has 40 sequoias over 5 feet in diameter including around 15 over 10 feet in diameter.
