"Loving You's a Dirty Job but Somebody's Gotta Do It" is a pop song written and composed by Jim Steinman and has been released in 1986 by Bonnie Tyler in duet with Todd Rundgren. The song appears on Bonnie Tyler's album Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire.

A promotional video was made for the song which featured Hywel Bennett who was miming to the Todd Rundgren lines.

Artwork for the single features cover paintings by the British artist and designer Edward Burne-Jones. 12" editions feature the cover painting The Beguiling of Merlin while 7" editions feature Phyllis and Demophoon. Some territories feature a photograph of Tyler.
