The Lomariopsidaceae is a family of ferns with a largely tropical distribution. It is part of the eupolypods I clade of the order Polypodiales,[1] in the class Polypodiopsida,[2] and contains the following genera:
The genus Nephrolepis has also been placed in this family,[3] but because its exact phylogenic placement is uncertain, it has been placed in its own family, Nephrolepidaceae, pending more complete data.[1]
Some members of the Lomariopsidaceae are cultivated as ornamental plants.
