Kyneton railway station is located on the Bendigo line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the town of Kyneton opening on 25 April 1862.[1]
The station was upgraded as part of the Regional Fast Rail project, with the platform re-aligned, the manual interlocking frame and railway crossing gates decommissioned, and new remote controlled computer based signalling provided. The station is the terminus of some peak hour V/Line commuter services, and sidings at the station are used to stable trains.
As part of the Regional Fast Rail project, the double line between Kyneton and Bendigo was singled.[2]
Disused station Carlsruhe is located between Kyneton and Woodend. Demolished station Redesdale Junction was located between Kyneton and Malmsbury.

Kyneton has two side island platforms. It is serviced by V/Line Bendigo and Swan Hill line services.[3][4] In the morning, some trains to Bendigo depart from platform 1, to allow services in the peak direction of travel to utilise the single 160 km/h track that was upgraded in 2006 as part of the Regional Fast Rail project.

- Bendigo line: services to Bendigo, Epsom, Eaglehawk & Swan Hill
