Hina Khawaja Bayat (Urdu: حنا خواجہ بائیات‎) is a Pakistani actress whose appearances include Uraan, Ishq Gumshuda, Aunn Zara, Humsafar, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Muqaddas and Shehr-e-Zaat. Hina is ethnically Kashmiri and lives in Karachi.[1] Her parents are originally from Srinigar, Jammu and Kashmir (Indian occupied Kashmir) who migrated to Pakistan in 1947 after the Partition of India.[2] Her parents were staunch supporters of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the Pakistan movement (similar to the majority of Kashmiri Muslims - Bayat's parents strongly supported the union of Kashmir with the new state of Pakistan).[3][4]
