Helicolenus hilgendorfii is one of ten species of rockfisheses in the genus Helicolenus. Known commonly as Hilgendorf's saucord, this fish is found in the Northwest Pacific as far as Japan and southern Korea to the East China Sea.[1] It reaches a maximum length of 27 cm.[1]
Biology
This species is viviparous.[1]
