Giscome is a community located between Willow River and Upper Fraser, at the west end of Eaglet Lake in central British Columbia.

History

A sawmill was established in Giscome in 1916. In July 1918, a Hindu man injured at a lumber mill in Giscome was refused admittance to the hospital in Prince George. He was eventually admitted due to the efforts of a prominent doctor and the mayor.

The Eaglet Lake sawmill was closed in 1975. As the company that owned the mill, Northwood, also owned the houses, and the residents were required to leave by the end of June 1975. By the end of 1976, most of Giscome's residents had abandoned the town.
