Legal dispute with SS veterans
In 2000 Kvalheim began work on a film about Norwegian veterans of the SS. He later claimed to have revealed a Nazi network in the process, and to have received death threats from this network. The SS veterans in question denied these accusations and asserted that he owed them money, Kvalheim denied this. In 2010 a Norwegian court decided in favor of the SS veterans on the question of the debt.[1]
Accusations of document forgery
In 2012 he was charged with forging several documents in a case that "gripped Scandinavia".[2]
