The Honourable Frederick Hamilton (c. 1663 – 13 December 1715),[1] was an Irish politician.

He was the oldest son of Gustavus Hamilton, 1st Viscount Boyne and his wife Elizabeth Brooke, daughter of Sir Henry Brooke.[2] His younger brothers were Gustavus Hamilton and Henry Hamilton.[3] In 1707, he entered the Irish House of Commons for Donegal County, the same constituency his father also represented, and sat as Member of Parliament until his death in 1715.[1] Hamilton was appointed Vice-Admiral of Ulster in 1710.[4]

On 1 September 1707, he married Sophia Hamilton, daughter of James Hamilton and sister of James Hamilton, 1st Earl of Clanbrassil.[5] They had two sons and two daughters.[5] The older son Gustavus succeeded his grandfather as Viscount Boyne.[5]
