Flyingshot Lake, or Flyingshot Lake Settlement, is an unincorporated community in Alberta, Canada within the County of Grande Prairie No. 1 that is recognized as a designated place by Statistics Canada.[1] It is located approximately 2.4 km (1.5 mi) west of Highway 40, and 3.2 km (2.0 mi) south of Highway 43. It surrounds a lake of the same name, and is adjacent to the City of Grande Prairie to the northeast.

Demographics

As a designated place in the 2011 Census, Flyingshot Lake had a population of 263 living in 93 of its 93 total dwellings, a 4% change from its 2006 population of 253. With a land area of 7.89 km2 (3.05 sq mi), it had a population density of 33.33/km2 (86.33/sq mi) in 2011.[1]

As of the 2006 Census of Canada, Flyingshot Lake had a total population of 253 living in 80 dwellings. With a land area of 7.89 km2 (3.05 sq mi), it had a population density of 32.1/km2 (83/sq mi).[2]
