Epstein–Barr virus nuclear antigen 3
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
The Epstein–Barr virus nuclear antigen 3 (EBNA-3) is a family of viral proteins associated with the Epstein–Barr virus.[citation needed]
- EBNA-3A[clarification needed]
- EBNA-3B[clarification needed]
- EBNA-3C[clarification needed]
These genes also bind the host RBP-Jκ protein.[clarification needed][citation needed]
EBNA-3C can recruit[clarification needed] a ubiquitin ligase and has been shown to target cell-cycle regulators such as retinoblastoma protein (pRb).[1][2]
