There were 231 housing units at an average density of 304.2 per square mile (117.4/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 77.41% White and 22.59% African American. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.20% of the population.

There were 207 households out of which 31.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.0% were married couples living together, 9.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.9% were non-families. 29.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 21.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.46 and the average family size was 3.05.
