Denmark chose their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2007. For the first time, the final, held in Horsens on 20 February 2007, was preceded by two semi finals:

The top 4 songs in each semi-final qualified for the final. Two of the losing songs in the semi-finals were chosen as 'wildcards' for the final by radio listeners.

DQ won and represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Drama Queen". He performed 12th in the semi-final on 10 May, but finished 19th, which means Denmark did not qualify for the final.
