David Stuart Havard (born 7 February 1950) is a British Labour Party politician, who was Member of Parliament (MP) for Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney from 2001 to 2015. Before then, he had been a secretary of the MSF union.
In September 2014 Dai announced his decision to step down as an MP at the 2015 general election[1]
