Carlos Clos Gómez (born 30 June 1972 in Zaragoza, Spain) is a football referee. He is a UEFA class first referee as of January 2009.[1]

Clos Gómez refereed a Europa League match between Motherwell and Steaua Bucureşti in which he was criticised by then Motherwell manager Jim Gannon.[2]

In 2008 Clos Gómez was forced to abandon a match between Granada and Real Madrid after an Granada player was struck by a bottle thrown from the crowd.[3]

Clos Gómez was named to FIFA's international list in 2009,[4] and has served as a referee during qualification for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, beginning with the 7 September 2012 match between Lithuania and Slovakia.[5]
