Ballynoe (Irish: An Baile Nua[1]) is a townland and suburb of Cobh on Great Island in County Cork.[1] It was extensively developed in the Celtic Tiger era.[2] A planned Ballynoe railway station was postponed in 2010 because of Ireland's financial crisis.[3]
