Balita Ngayon is the former flagship national news broadcast of ABS-CBN in the Philippines. It aired on ABS Channel 3 (later 2) from 1967–1972 and from 1986–1987 after the resumption of operations as a single network following the People Power Revolution. It became the first newscast to use Filipino, predating GMA Balita for 19 years and TV Patrol by 20 years.
It is also the title of ABS-CBN's Mega Manila AM radio station DZMM's hourly newscasts.

Airing history
Balita Ngayon debuted on November 20, 1967, and aired daily from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays. However, the newscast ceased airing due to the closure of ABS-CBN after the declaration of martial law on September 23, 1972.
On July 16, 1986, Balita Ngayon returned with Mel Tiangco, Frankie Evangelista and Robert Arevalo at the helm in one hour from 6 to 7 p.m. in 1986 and from 6:30 to 7 p.m. in January to February 1987. During this time, it was a Catholic Mass Media awardee.[1] However, due to low ratings brought about by its competition with GMA Balita, Balita Ngayon ended on February 27, 1987 to give way for TV Patrol.
