As a manufacturer of automation technology, the company specializes in controller, visualization and drive technologies. In addition to scalable complete solutions, B&R also provides individual components. The entire product range is oriented toward machine and system manufacturing. B&R is also active in the area of process control automation.

In the year 2011, the company generated €410 million of revenue with more than 2,300 employees. Sales were distributed by region as follows:

Locations

The company headquarters are located in Eggelsberg (Upper Austria). The first building addition there took place in 2000, adding another production plant with a surface area of 10,000 m2. The company has occupied newly expanded facilities since March 2008. With an investment volume of approximately €50 million, an additional 50,000 m2 were added to the headquarters.
