Antony Cheng (born December 29, 1997) is a Canadian figure skater. He is the 2015 Canadian Figure Skating Championships Junior men national silver medalist and Coupe de Printemps 2016, Junior men champion.[1]

Personal life

Antony Cheng was born on Dec 29, 1997 in Vancouver, British Columbia.[1]

He enjoys dancing, visual art and music. He has a YouTube channel where he pursues his dance and an Instagram account dedicated to photography where he is also an official member of Iglobalphotographers. [1][2][3][4]

Career

Antony began skating and played hockey at age seven but then switched to figure skating when he was eight in Toronto, Ontario. He began training with coach Joanne McLeod in Burnaby, British Columbia during the summertime since he was twelve.[1]

His Non-ISU personal best scores are SP 66.68 (2015 Super Series Summer Skate), LP 117.32 (2015 Canadian Champ.), with a combined personal best total of 178.64 (2015 Super Series Summer Skate).[5]

Antony has won 4 national medals and one international medal, and made his international debut in 2015.[5] He placed 13th at the Junior grand Prix USA, 2015 and won Coupe de Printemps, Luxembourg 2016. [1]

Antony has also missed a couple international assignments in 2013 and 2015 due to ankle injuries and stress fractures.
