Alan Haskvitz

Alan Paul Haskvitz (born 7 September 1942) is a notable teacher, who has been inducted into the National Teachers Hall of Fame[1] and won the Robert Cherry teaching award.[2] Haskvitz is notable for introducing "quality circles"[citation needed] into the education field and for being one of the first to actively promote "service learning" as part of the social science curriculum.[citation needed] He has been selected six times as one of the best teachers in the United States.[citation needed]
