The 9th Critics' Choice Television Awards, presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), honoring the best in primetime television programming from 2018, was held on January 13, 2019 at the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Santa Monica, California.[1][2] It was broadcast on The CW and hosted by Taye Diggs.[3]
The nominations were announced on December 10, 2018. HBO and Netflix co-led with 20 nominations, followed by FX with 16.[4][5]
