1973–74 DDR-Oberliga

The 1973/74 DDR-Oberliga season was the 24th season of the top football league in East Germany. As in the season before, 14 teams from all over the GDR competed. The teams played each other twice, once at home and once on the road. Two points were awarded for a win, one for a draw and none for a loss.
1974 saw 1. FC Magdeburg win their second of eventually three Oberliga titles.
