The Beat 99.9 FM is a Lagos based English speaking radio station centered on information the entertainment industry. The station started broadcasting on the 9th of September 2009.[1] It also features an internet Radio service and Beat TV.[2] [3] It was the first African radio station to get verified on Twitter.[4] On Air Personalities of The Beat 99.9 FM include Toolz, Gbemi, Douglas Jekan, Osi, Fade, Maria, Chris the Razor, Dami, Segun, Victor, Jimmie and Olisa.[5]
