Summary
Interior view of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenox_Yard" class="extiw" title="w:Lenox Yard">Lenox Yard</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_City_Subway" class="extiw" title="w:New York City Subway">New York City Subway</a>, in 1904. This yard served as the main repair and overhaul facility of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interborough_Rapid_Transit_Company" class="extiw" title="w:Interborough Rapid Transit Company">Interborough Rapid Transit Company</a> subway system and later the IRT Division. It was located between 148th and 149th Street in Harlem. There was a shed consisting of three adjacent bays among several layup tracks. Today this site is occupied by the "Harlem–148th Street" terminal of the "3" service.
