Summary

Life restoration of a juvenile Mussaurus patagonicus eating a Dicroidium fern. Mussaurus (mouse lizard) was named for the diminutive size of the holotype specimen, now known to represent a juvenile individual. This drawing gives the individual highly speculative integument, a gular pouch with feathers, an inflatable nostril, and various feathers.
