In the background is a M109A6 Paladin 155mm Howitzer belonging to 2nd Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. These guns provided counter battery fire and close fire support for the 39th Brigade Combat Team and the 1st Cavalry Division during OIF II. A M109A6 Paladin Howitzer belonging to 2-82 FA, 1CD can be seen in the background.
