Summary
This picture of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duane_Allman" class="extiw" title="en:Duane Allman">Duane Allman</a> was taken from the Saturday night show (2 shows per night, this was the 11:30 show) at the Fillmore East's final weekend. My best friend Scott Osias and I slept out on 2nd Ave in advance of tickets going on sale and scored most of the first row of seats for ourselves and all our other 16 year old Oceanside High School cronies. The band was absolutely on fire at that show. Unfortunately, this particular scan is a poor one, but will eventually be replaced by a fresh print.
