Brig. Gen. Alberto C. Gonzalez, the assistant adjutant general of the Arizona National Guard, presents a coin to Capt. Randy Evans, an officer with the Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary's), 39 Canadian Brigade Group of the Canadian Forces Army Reserve out of British Columbia, Canada, May 2. Evans was in charge of coordinating a convoy exercise with Soldiers from the Arizona National Guard and the 39 CBG. Operation Cougar Salvo 12 was a joint- multinational exercise, held April 23 to May 5, for NATO allies from the U.S. and Canada to practice combat support and sustainment exercises.
