Summary
The combined <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_Deco" class="extiw" title="w:Art Deco">Art Deco</a>/<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mid-Century_Modern" class="extiw" title="w:Mid-Century Modern">Mid-Century Modern</a> awning over the doorway to the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IND_Fulton_Street_Line" class="extiw" title="w:IND Fulton Street Line">IND Fulton Street Line</a> entrance of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broadway_Junction_(New_York_City_Subway)" class="extiw" title="w:Broadway Junction (New York City Subway)">Broadway Junction Subway station complex</a>, in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_New_York,_Brooklyn" class="extiw" title="w:East New York, Brooklyn">East New York, Brooklyn</a>. The awning over the doors is clearly Art Deco, however the "SUBWAY" lettering within the awning was more prevalent during the 1960's and 1970's. Note also the sign for the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_City_Transit_Police" class="extiw" title="w:New York City Transit Police">New York City Transit Police</a> precinct off to the left. NYCTPD District #33 is within the IND Fulton Street Line building.
