Summary

Renaissance French lute tablature (and corresponding guitar notation) for Attaingnant's "Branle de Poictou".

Typeset by <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Bobby_D._Bryant" class="extiw" title="en:User:Bobby D. Bryant">B.Bryant</a> using <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MusiXTeX" class="extiw" title="en:MusiXTeX">en:MusiXTeX</a> and the fonts from Wayne Cripps' freely available Tab program. The piece is based on a photocopy of a setting apparently done with the Tab program, but of unknown origin. The ultimate source of the piece is the manuscript indicated in the image. The transcription to notation was done by <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Bobby_D._Bryant" class="extiw" title="en:User:Bobby D. Bryant">B.Bryant</a>.
