Summary
The Atari 2600, a video game console released by Atari in 1977. Originally called the Atari Video Computer System, the system was the most popular gaming console of the late '70s and early '80s. This model is the Sears-branded "Video Arcade II" model, which came after the original Tele-Games model. It features a case redesign that was borrowed from the Atari 2800 (the Japanese 2600) and later inspired the Atari 7800.
